Hiring a Private Investigator

Hiring a Private Investigator

Most people have never hired a private investigator before. Based on years of experience as an Orlando Private Investigator, we decided to list what our Private Investigation Agency believes are the most important factors to consider before hiring a Private Investigator in Orlando or anywhere in Florida.

Licensing:

Do not Hire a Private Investigator that is not licensed in Florida. Also, private investigators should have 2 license numbers, their personal license (Which they must carry at all times) and the license for the Agency they work for. It is illegal to hire a private investigator that does not possess both licenses in Florida.

SRA ensures all private investigators are licensed, insured and in full compliance with all local, state and federal laws at all times

Contract:

Be sure that the Private Investigator you hire has a valid, well written contract. Their contract should clearly define the work to be provided, and payment, cost or fees along with the process for delivery of the case results.

SRA provides a professionally written contract that is clearly explained and agreed upon prior to taking your case.

Experience:

Every single case n is different and therefore the private investigator you hire should be experienced and equipped to treat each case as individually as a fingerprint. A good Private Investigator should be able to create an individual game plan and strategy to meet the needs of your specific situation.

SRA will not accept your case unless we are confident we can provide the service you desire. All of our Private Investigators have specific experience and advanced training in our areas of expertise.

Confidentiality:

It’s not because we are great at keeping secrets, licensed private investigators are bound by law to adhere to 100% confidentiality regarding your case. A private investigator in Orlando or anywhere Florida is prohibited by law from disclosing any details or info regarding your case. This also prevents a private investigator from disclosing any info or facts to law enforcement officers, the subject of the private investigation, or their attorneys.

SRA ensures 100% confidentiality in every aspect of our investigations.

Costs:

Traditionally Orlando private investigators charge by the hour but they may charge lump sum amounts to simplify the billing process. Rates may vary based on the service or the difficulty or resources required to correctly complete the objective.

SRA offers competitive private investigation rates and all costs and fees are declared and agreed upon up fron. There are never any hidden fees!

Reputation:

Be sure to read any reviews and see if the Orlando private investigator you are considering has any achievements in private investigation or in any related field. Also verify if there are any official license complaints that may have been filed against them or their Agency.

SRA offers various reviews on our website and was awarded #1 Private Investigator by Thumbtack.com for both Orlando and Tampa in 2015. (The only Agency ever to win the award in both cities the same year!)

SRA is a member in good standing with FALI (Florida Association or Professional Investigators)

Two of our investigators currently serve on the Board of Directors for FALI.
